a robot for Bruno

This toy made from Hillary Lang's Spaceboy & Robot Put Together Book came out of unembellished limbo yesterday when Bruno and I pulled out the Shrinky Dinks. He has been wondering about how it would be possible to explore the Sun, so he equipped his robot with the shades and devices it'll need to do the job. I noticed that the number fabric I used for the head just happened to show 631 on each side...sol*631.

Crazy creative - that's what you are? (And you might have a little Sioux in you too.)
This is gorgeous! I'm wondering how I can include some shrinky dinks on an apron...I just want to reach out and touch it!
That is incredibly amazing and adorable!
OK I think this is the best robot I have ever seen. LOVE it!
Hurray for Shrinky Dinks! I've just been trying to locate my SS stash for a few days now, so I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who likes them. The robot turned out so cute!
You win the prize for greates use of shriky dinks ever - real genius! Glad this fellow is out of unembellished limbo. Love that visual, a sad place to be, but a place my ufos know only too well.
You're outdoing yourselves down there.

"Be the first on your block to have a shrinky-dink embellished bot!"

Nothing must ever, ever happen to sol*631. Wrap him in tissue paper NOW. Well maybe not.
Oh! This is SO CUTE! :)
